TRES COSAS BÁSICAS
Francisco Matiozzi Molinas • Argentina • 2019 • 72 min.   [AT PRODUCTION STAGE]
tres cosas básicas film

Tulio Valenzuela, his partner Raquel with a six months pregnancy and her son, are kidnapped by the Argentinian military force in 1978. Part of the military group from the ‘de facto’ government that was in power since 1976, plans an action in Mexico, where the heads of the Montoneros are exiled. To put this idea into action, Tulio, leader of the Montoneros movement, is forced to join them. In this “agreement”, Raquel’s life is at stake because she becomes the guarantee that the operation will be a success. The couple decides to take the risk and pretend that they will cooperate with the plan. Once they arrive to Mexico, Valenzuela struggles to escape and denounces the plan in an international press conference. A couple of months later, Raquel -still captive- gives birth to a boy and a girl that are kidnaped by the army. A few days later, Raquel is murdered.
There has been more than 40 years from that tragic act of loyalty and endurance. Sebastián, the son that was able to survive the kidnap, and Sabrina, one of the twins born captive and ‘recovered granddaughter’ in democracy, are looking for their brother that is still missing.
