Kino Rebelde has been working since 2017 to support, through its catalog, cinematographic gestures that do not conform to mainstream hegemonic language.

Each year, we select up to 8 projects (including features and shorts). We establish close relationships and work meticulously on tailored distribution strategies for film festivals, alternative venues, and educational circuits.

We also recognize that many high-quality films may not fully align with our curatorial focus but still hold great distribution potential. For these, we offer consulting services and festival strategy guidance.

Our expertise is rooted in creativity, our cinephile spirit (we watch a lot of films every year!), our participation in markets and festivals worldwide, and, above all, time. We do not engage in mechanical or corporate work.

Additionally, Kino Rebelde offers workshops, masterclasses, and talks to democratize access to the workings of film distribution—a subject often overlooked in film schools, leaving students unsure of what to do once their film is finished.
